Heyo all! Back with another update!
You might've noticed with some of my more recent character illustrations, that I've been slowly switching over to a new art style, especially with the coloured outlines and with how I do eyes (reminiscent of the Powerpuff Girl-style), and I would like to explain the sudden style update.
Truth is, my style has always been changing, always been evolving, always branching, and this change brings me closer to the style that best reflects me. For me, two of my bigget influences for my style are the modern Puyo Puyo character art style and Lauren Faust. I have always been attracted to that classic, bright, popping, stylized look for characters, probably because it's the kind of art I grew up with and always been appealed to.

Lauren Faust Classic Art Style Example

Obviously, not everything will be strictly confined to a combination of these two styles, other style bits I've studied have carried over from studies (such as doing hands), but these two are the main inspirations.

So why am I making this whole long thing about shifting styles? I'm going to be starting work on character rigs on this revamped style, starting with Miraiserin herself (and totally not because her birthday just passed by)!
Currently, I won't show anything major, but I can give a little preview for progress!

Hope y'all will be excited when the full rig comes out, and thanks for reading! More cool stuff coming soon! :D
